An Introduction to Alterian Advantage Programme

The Alterian Advantage Partner Programme places a firm emphasis on creating mutually beneficial and profitable working arrangements. Becoming an Advantage Partner helps you to achieve higher revenue growth, with access to a wide range of Alterian products and services. Your teams are given the tools needed to sell, implement and support Alterian solutions, providing significant competitive advantages for your business.

When undertaking pitch work, formal Alterian Advantage Partner certification allows you to demonstrate very specific capabilities to your clients, giving them the evidence needed to select you as a supplier.

Partnership 
Organisations that are committed to developing provable skills and knowledge of Alterian solutions are able to become a Partner. This grants rights to sell Alterian solutions and comes complete with a wide range of support. Partner s benefit from an assigned Partner Development Manager who can help with ongoing education, bid responses, pitches and other elements critical to making the partnership a success.

Capability audit
Entry to the Advantage Programme begins with a capability audit designed to identify the skills and capabilities that are in place and those that need to be developed. Recommendations from this phase will drive training, certification and rules of engagement.

The capability audit is important because it allows Partner s to be confident that their team has the right skills – the results show lower implementation costs, increased customer satisfaction and higher levels of new business.

On-Boarding
As soon as a partnership is established, a comprehensive ‘on-boarding’ process takes place to maximise the success of the new partnership. The focus of on-boarding is to ensure that a Partner has the skills and capabilities to identify, win and capitalise on early opportunities.

On-boarding is designed to encompass all aspects of becoming and remaining a successful Alterian Partner, including:

  • Initial contract agreement
  • Planning meeting
  • Software installation and extranet setup
  • Documentation
  • Sales toolkit and support
  • Marketing support
  • Training
  • Certification
  • Regular reviews

Certification
Advantage certification is designed to confirm beyond doubt that an organisation meets predefined standards. Partners can choose to become certified in a range of different Alterian solutions depending on the nature of their business.

Full training is provided for each area of certification and individuals are asked to pass an examination in order to become certified. Partners achieve certified status by employing the required minimum number of appropriately certified individuals.

Marketing Program
An extensive range of marketing material is available to Advantage Partners via the Alterian Partner Marketing Portal. This portal gives you many different co-branded tools including monthly campaigns, video demonstrations, presentations and other collateral. You will also have access to guides on writing case studies, building campaigns, buying data and running events. The portal is updated regularly as part of ongoing marketing collaboration between Alterian and our Partners.
