Delegates are expected to have some practical experience with the administration of the Windows operating system. Experience with internet technology and databases (SQLServer) is recommended.
Course objectives
Delegates acquire the skills and knowledge that enable them to install, operate and maintain an ACM installation. The functioning of and communication between the system "building blocks", i.e. SQLServer, ACM, IIS and Tomcat Application Server, form the focus of the course.
During the course, delegates start by installing ACM on their own server. Then they create an ACM instance on the server and install the ACM sample site. They configure the ACM, IIS and Tomcat so that the new instance can be approached both from a web browser, from the Smart and Web Client and from the Content Rules Console. Finally, delegates configure a Live ACM Instance that is updated automatically when changes are published in the Staging Instance.
