In the past 10 years, the airport has undergone constant change and improvement, with the goal of becoming the best airport in Europe - dynamic, innovative and customer-oriented organization. The new website provides a powerful combination of usability and relevant information in an attractive interface, and uses Alterian Content Manager. The website provides information to travellers and the local community around the airport, such as real-time passenger flight information, schedules and the ability to book flights online. The website publishes information for over 300 destinations, including the weather, hotel offers and the local time. This required the integration of seven backend systems, databases and email systems.

The reasons for selecting Content Manager included the flexibility and agility of the solution, which means editors can quickly and easily add and update content. The Alterian solution also connects seamlessly with the Airport’s existing systems. The scalability of Content Manager also allows the 50+ hops and retail outlets to store and update information about special offers, opening times and job vacancies, via a Citrix environment.
