Alterian Content Manager v7 release
Alterian Content Manager v7, launched in November 2010, uniquely combines web content management with centralized control and reuse of creative assets for email deployments , as well as publication of managed content to a variety of social media channels.
All driven from within the same user interface and supported by insightful analytics and advanced social media monitoring capabilities, ACM acts as a central hub for customer engagement as well as measurement of email and social media reach and effectiveness.

ACM v7 improvements and new features include:
- A fully rebranded user interface that takes “ease of use” for content contributors to the next level;
- A new powerful workflow engine that enables workflows – ranging from easy to very complex - to be setup through an easy to use graphical user interface;
- Migration of all administrative features into the ACM Smart Client desktop application;
- Sophisticated MS office integration allowing full interaction with the system through just Word and Outlook, supporting both offline and online content authoring, signoffs, content previewing as well as mobile access;
- Extensibility of both the Web Client (browser based) and Smart Client (desktop application) user interfaces, enabling partners and clients to extend ACM to include any additional standard, bespoke-built, or 3rd party functionality
- Built-in web analytics capabilities designed to optimize web page performance, based on Alterian’s WebJourney technology
- A new Email Manager module designed to drive email campaigns directly out of ACM, reusing digital assets managed in ACM
Alterian clients running Alterian Content Manager Corporate, Professional or Enterprise edition, can upgrade to an ACM v7 license for free.
